What is GLP-2?
Glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) is a 33-amino-acid peptide co-secreted with GLP-1 by intestinal L-cells. In research, it is most commonly studied for its role in intestinal epithelial proliferation, barrier function, and nutrient absorption models.
GLP2-T is a research-grade GLP-2 analog optimized for study stability. It is intended solely for in-vitro assays and preclinical animal research.
Common research endpoints
Published preclinical studies of GLP-2 and its analogs commonly examine intestinal crypt-villus architecture, mucosal repair after injury, and markers of intestinal permeability. Some models also study its interaction with somatostatin and insulin-signalling pathways.
Handling and storage
Store lyophilized GLP2-T vials at or below 4°C, protected from light. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within the timeframe specified by your study protocol.
