What are BPC-157 and TB-500?
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide originally isolated from a protective sequence found in human gastric juice. In laboratory research it is most often studied for its effects on cellular repair pathways, angiogenesis, and connective-tissue models.
TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of the naturally occurring protein Thymosin Beta-4. It has been investigated in preclinical models for its role in actin regulation, cell migration, and vascular formation.
The two are frequently paired in research settings because their study endpoints overlap — angiogenesis, tissue-repair signalling, and inflammation modelling — while their mechanisms are distinct.
Why researchers combine them
Combining BPC-157 and TB-500 in a single research vial reduces the number of reconstitution steps and dosing errors in a study protocol. It also allows a single control arm to compare a combined-peptide condition against each peptide in isolation.

Reconstitution and storage
Lyophilized BPC-157 + TB-500 is typically reconstituted with bacteriostatic water. The volume of diluent controls the final concentration per unit volume; researchers should calculate this based on the endpoint dose the study calls for.
Unreconstituted vials should be stored at or below 4°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted, most published handling notes recommend refrigeration at 2–8°C and use within 30 days, with the vial kept upright and the septum sanitized before each withdrawal.
